Howe Public Schools Adds Smart Agriculture Probes, Sensors and Weather Station to Outdoor Learning Center

Davis weather systemA smart agriculture connected-STEM project is being launched this week for the Outdoor Learning Center at Howe Public Schools.  Chandler Heath, Big Data Technical Solutions Architect with World Wide Technologies spent the last three days on campus configuring the HydroLab sensors and probes and preparing the Davis Weather Monitoring System.  With these combined systems, students will be able to analyze and compare real time data from the Outdoor Learning Center's high-tech greenhouse, pond, and

Data Dashboardaquaponics system for temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, leaf wetness, rain, temperature, wind speed and direction.  These newly added technologies combine science, technology, engineering and mathematics to deliver real time, real life daily lessons to our PK-12th grade classrooms.
