It’s game day! The Lady Lions will play in the Area Finals vs #2 Amber-Pocasset this evening at 6 pm at Seminole. HPS has purchased rights to stream the game via the Howe Schools Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/howeschools/. The stream will be video only, but you can also listen to the audio at KPRV. Mrs. Rana's 1st Grade class enjoyed a visit from guest author, 8th grader Kaylee Gammel. Kaylee shared her book, Sally the Sea Urchin, which earned her 1st place at a recent FCCLA competition. Kaylee will be presenting her book at State later this month.

National Honor Society had a big day celebrating Dr. Seuss with the Early Childhood classes: Green Eggs and Ham with PreK, One Fish Two Fish with PK3, and Oobleck with Kindergarten! What fun! (I'm sorry I didn't get pics of all of it, but I think the teachers did!)

Congratulations to the Howe FFA and 4-H members placing last week at the Leflore County Livestock and Ag Mechanics Show. On top of placings individually 1st - 5th in class Abby hale had 7th overall wether goat and Rhilynn had 4th overall Steer, Rhilynn Young, Carlee Ambrose, Lindsey Reppen, Abby Hale, Chloey Young, and Balie Moore all made the Premium sale to be held Friday Night.

Ms. Sanford's First Grade enjoyed a special guest author today: HPS Freshman Psalm Yandell. Psalm read her original children's book, Tip's Amazing Trick, which took 1st place in a recent competition for FCCLA. She will be presenting her book at State in March.
