
Middle School and High School students are invited to join the Red Zone basketball student section club! Students can sign-up on the list hanging outside Coach Womack’s classroom. A list will be posted for Middle School students outside Mrs. Nye’s classroom later this morning. Please list your t-shirt size if you’d like to order a t-shirt. Students will pay for the cost of the t-shirt once the order arrives. Thursday, Nov 4 is the first home HS basketball game. Mr. Parks has issued a challenge to the RED ZONE . . . if 100 MS/HS students attend and sit in the RED ZONE student section for Thursday night’s games, Mr. Parks has agreed to paint his hair RED for Friday’s home basketball game against Wright City! The Coronation has been moved to the Auditorium, the updated schedule is listed below. The auditorium will be cleared between sessions and reserved seating has been established for families of candidates.

We would like to thank the Choctaw Nation for their generous sponsorship of our Red Ribbon Week speaker today! The funding was provided through a grant administered by the Choctaw Nation Behavioral Health Department. The grant is the Tribal Opioid Response 2 Grant and one of the populations served is youth. Our speaker today is Mr. Melvin Adams, a former member of the world-famous HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS. Location update: The Fall Carnival is scheduled for Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the UPPER PARKING LOT of the campus. The Coronation will start at 5:30 p.m. for all grade levels and will be held in front of the new gym. (Alternate location due to rain will be in the Auditorium). #HPSLions

Looking for a way to boost your energy in the mornings, visit Ambition Nutrition in Poteau, and have this week’s Howe Intern of the Week, Raelyn Delt, prepare you an energy drink or protein shake. Raelyn has been working at Ambition Nutrition each day of the week as an intern and has received on the job training training and learning opportunities. She is a senior at Howe Schools and hopes to play college basketball while pursuing a career in Physical Therapy after graduation.
