Parents/Guardian: Please note the change in the Virtual Learning Day scheduled for October 1. It has been moved to Oct 22; Oct 1 will be a full day of school. Oct 22 is a Virtual Learning Day for students. Updated Calendar: https://5il.co/xfyq #HPSLions
Elementary and Middle School Parents:
Just a reminder that school hours are from 8:00 till 3:20. Students in the upper elementary, who are not bus riders, need to be picked up at the East end of the building. That is the end closest to the big parking lot. Parents can wait in their cars and pull through the line or walk up and wait on the sidewalk for their child to be called to come out to meet them. Students need to stay in the building till dismissal. Please make every effort possible to keep students in class till the end of the day. If your child has an appointment and needs to leave early, please come to the office. It tends to get hectic at the end of the day, we are busy trying to make sure our students and teachers are notified of changes in transportation and would appreciate your help in keeping early checkouts to a minimum. Also, if there is a change in transportation for any elementary or middle school student, try to have those changes into the office by 2:00.
