The funding was provided through a grant administered by the Choctaw Nation Behavioral Health Department. The grant is the Tribal Opioid Response 2 Grant and one of the populations served is youth. Our speaker today is Mr. Melvin Adams, a former member of the world-famous HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS. FALL FAMILY FUN! It's time for Howe Public Schools' annual Fall Carnival! Location update: The Fall Carnival is scheduled for Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the UPPER PARKING LOT of the campus. The Coronation will start at 5:30 p.m. for all grade levels and will be held in front of the new gym. (Alternate location due to rain will be in the Auditorium). #HPSLions

Looking for a way to boost your energy in the mornings, visit Ambition Nutrition in Poteau, and have this week’s Howe Intern of the Week, Raelyn Delt, prepare you an energy drink or protein shake. Raelyn has been working at Ambition Nutrition each day of the week as an intern and has received on the job training training and learning opportunities. She is a senior at Howe Schools and hopes to play college basketball while pursuing a career in Physical Therapy after graduation.

Highest selling girl and boy from each grade will be the king and queen for that grade. Classes can continue to sell until October 26, 2021.
