Congratulations to our Howe HS and JH Archery Teams! The Howe High School took 1st place in the first ever LeFlore County Archery Tournament and the Junior High took 3rd place.
Placing in the Tournament for the High school was
Ashley Cauthen, shooting a 278 for the Top High School girl shooter.
Kaitlyn Frizzell, shot 266 Placing 4th
and Kourtney Mattox, shot 266 Placing 5th.
In the boys,
J.C. Gonzalez, shot 279 Placing 3rd
and Andy Roberts, shot a 272 Placing 6th.
In the Junior High, Phoenix Duncan, shot 262 placing 6th in the JH boys division.
Both teams had good showing in their respective state tournaments this year. The HS placed 12th out of 20 overall in the GRAND STATE shoot. The JH placed 14th out of 57 in their division.

SENIORS, if you have not applied for the bank scholarships, The C. Robert Reed Scholarship and The Bud French Memorial Scholarship, please do so TODAY! Applications are due this Friday, but since we will not be in school Thursday or Friday, they will need to be turned in early. Mrs. Wright wants to remind all seniors that these are two scholarships that have been awarded for Howe students many times and that applying is easy and IMPORTANT! See Mrs. Wright before Wednesday at noon if you need her help!
