As a way to learn outside the classroom, Janae is learning new skills and possible career opportunities. This opportunity has given her an insight to what goes on in the hair salon industry. ACT Parent Letter
To: Parents of High School Juniors
From: Howe High School
This letter is to communicate with the parents of Howe High Schools’ Junior Class for the 2020-21 school year.
Our school district plans to administer the ACT test in spring 2021 to eligible juniors as a part of the state contract with the Oklahoma State Department of Education and ACT.
Last year our juniors did not take the ACT on our campus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Howe School District believes this is an excellent opportunity for all juniors to take the ACT this year at no cost to them or their parents/guardians.
Additional information on why we chose the ACT can be found by going to the following website: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/scores/act-vs-sat.html
If you have any questions or concerns, I may be reached at 918-658-3368 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Please send questions/comments by November 9, 2020.
