On Tuesday, November 5th, our Howe FFA Sporting Clays Team competed at the SE Area
Sporting Clays Event and placed 1st and qualified for state. They then went to Arcadia on
November 13th to shoot at the state Sporting Clay shoot. Throughout this 2019-20 skeet
shooting year, they went to Connors, Area and the State competition. These boys worked very
hard this season. This team consists of Senior Tanner Scott, Junior Jeremiah Eaton, Junior
Camryn Wickware, Sophomore Jackson Morris, and 8th Grader Gage Carson.

The Howe Lions defeated Roland Saturday night (12/14) to earn the Championship title in the Choctaw Nation Invitational Tourn at Talihina!! Their record increases to 9-0! Congratulations to Brayden Oglesby, Tourn MVP and congratulations to Dustin Stimac & Zayn Coggins, All-Tourn team! #HPSLions

NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia is inviting students grades K-12 to creatively visualize NASA’s science, technology and human exploration activities in the 2020 NASA Art Contest, using the theme “We Are Going.” The contest is open to all children grades K-12. #HPSLions

Howe Varsity Cheerleaders are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Drive. This year we will be partnering with the Pocola Indians on December the 10th. All donations will be given to less fortunate children for Christmas. Toys will be collected and placed in the Toys for Tots boxes. Stuffed animals will be taken to your seat and thrown on the floor when the first bucket is scored during the girls game. The Varsity Cheerleaders from both schools will be performing together during halftime of the girls game.
Be sure to bring your Christmas list and some extra money to the ballgame Tuesday, December 10! The National Honor Society will be hosting a silent auction in the lobby of the gym. Place your bid and do your Christmas shopping! #HPSLions
Refueling Santa's Sleigh is a community project. These donations are going to be making up boxes of snacks and food for the areas postal workers. Postal workers don't always have time for a meal and are not rested enough to make a meal. So we are going to deliver boxes to them with food in them. Our goal is to make at least 80 boxes. We will deliver them on the 18th and 19th of December. You can bring your donations to the ag room behind the high school.
