We would like to invite parents of our Howe Johnson O'Malley students to a brief orientation on the services the JOM program provides for our students. The orientation is scheduled from 5 - 5:30 pm. A representative from the Choctaw Nation High School Student Services will present a brief overview of services from 5:15 - 5:30 pm, and will also have a booth in the HS from 5:40 - 7:30 pm during the Back To School Open House, August 14, 2018.

To be eligible for services through the Johnson O'Malley (JOM) program at Howe Public Schools, students must be enrolled in the district, and parents must:
Provide the student's tribal membership card, and/or parent's card & child's state-issued birth certificate.
Once a child is verified by the JOM office staff, the following are services that the JOM program offers to Howe students. We will cover these services and share additional information about the 2018-19 Parent Committee meetings, etc.

The Howe JOM Program was chosen as the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma's Exemplary Program for the 2016-17 school year. $25 school supply Wal-Mart gift cards are available for all verified Howe Johnson O' Malley Indian students (PK - 12th grade). Supply cards can be picked up at the Elementary or HS Office during regular school hours. Parents can also pick up cards during the Open House on Aug. 14 between 5-8 pm. A parent/guardian signature is required at time of pick-up and the student must be a verified JOM student.
