Attention KTC students: Howe Public Schools will not provide transportation to KTC on Thursday, May 4 due to the campus closure. If possible students should find alternate means of transportation to/from KTC classes.

Howe Public Schools administration received a phone message this morning that we immediately included the LCSD to assist in investigating a threat that was referenced for the last day of school. Due to the investigation, and the position of law enforcement and Howe administration, we have made the decision to increase law enforcement presence until we can release students early today at 2 pm. We will also shift to virtual school attendance for Thursday May 4th. Law enforcement was unable to determine the level of threat on our school due to the responses they received and this has necessitated this plan of action.

Thanks to a partnership with the Howe JOM program, Howe will start a “learn to fly” a drone program this summer for ANY interested middle or high school student. Please contact Mrs. Parks or Mr. Casey for more information. Sign-up sheet is in the High School office. #HPSLions
