This week's Howe Intern of the Week is Ashlynn Thompson. She is a junior at Howe High School and a very busy student. Ashlynn has taken on the responsibility of being an intern for two departments. She is an intern for Mrs. Tammy Parks, Director of Instructional Technology/Federal Programs, and for Mr. James Marshall, Agricultural Education Instructor. Ashlynn is actively involved in the Howe FFA program and serves as the chapter President. She has not made a definite decision about career goals after graduation, but she would love to go study abroad.
Thanks to the generous donations from our students and staff and Howe FBC, National Honor Society dropped off 15 shoeboxes full of gifts for Operation Christmas Child!

Congratulations to the Howe JH Lady Lions for reaching the finals of the Panama JH BB Tournament. The girls championship game will start at 6:30 PM at the Panama EC on Thursday, November 16. #HPSLions
The Lady Lions/Lions will be back in action this evening in the Panama JH Tournament. The Lady Lions will tip off at 6:30 PM vs. Poteau 7 in the Event Center. The Lions will tip off at 6:30 PM in the Elementary Gym. #HPSLions
Congratulations to our 4th Grade Invention Convention winners - 1st Place - Gracie Sumpter, 2nd Place - Claire Smith, 3rd Place - Bryleigh Green and Fan Favorite - Rylan Martin! There were many amazing inventions produced by our 4th Grade class. They all did a great job.
Just a reminder the Parent/Teacher conferences are this Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30. Progress reports will be going out this Wednesday. There is no school on Friday, November 17th and we are out of school next week November 20th - 24th for Thanksgiving break. School will resume on November 27th.
