Congratulations to our Howe Lady Lions! They defeated the Warner Lady Eagles 64-43 in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A State Championship game tonight at the Big House in OKC! They will play Pawhuska on Friday at 1:30 pm. #GoBIGRed #HPSLions
Howe Public Schools is excited to announce the establishment of a 2nd daycare location within the community of Howe, Lionheart Daycare. Howe Public Schools is working with DHS to open an additional daycare on the east end of North Railroad Street. We are anticipating a capacity of 30-45 children, (all ages) in need of daycare and limited after-school care. We are hoping to get the facilities prepped this Spring, with an opening date of Summer or Fall of this year.
Howe Public Schools is accepting applications for daycare staff, and we welcome inquiries from interested parents of children in need of daycare services. Attention Howe Fans! Make plans to travel to OKC tomorrow (3/7) to support our Howe Lady Lions at the BIG HOUSE in the quarter-finals of the Class 2A State Championship Tournament! Due to the very late schedule of the game at 9 pm on Tuesday night, school will be dismissed on Wednesday, March 8 to accommodate the travel and overnight considerations of our students, families, and staff that will be in attendance. (This day will be made up on Friday, April 28.)
Tickets can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/howestate030723 for $10 + $1 fee. (Strongly encouraged . . . pre-paid ticket holders can enter at multiple doors, including the team entrance.)
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $13 (Prepare for a long wait, only one entrance for ticket purchases at the door.)
