The Kiamichi Technology Center - Poteau Campus will be in session on Thursday and Friday, Jan 13 and 14. KTC students are expected to attend classes regardless of district's virtual learning day schedule. The Howe KTC bus will depart the Howe campus at 7:50 am and return at 11:15 am for the AM classes and departure Howe campus at 12:15 pm and return at 3:30 pm for the PM classes. #HPSLions
The 90th Annual LeFlore County High School Basketball Tournament (hosted by Whitesboro Public Schools) is scheduled for January 17-22! Howe will serve as a sub-site host on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. All games at the Howe site will be streamed at bit/ly/howesports; Admission: $7 Adult; $5 Students

High School Announcements:
Basketball, Archery and Cheer pictures are scheduled for January 27, 2022 for grades 3rd through High School. Picture order forms will be sent out.
The freshman class is selling tickets for custom Howe Lion/Lady Lion cornhole boards. Stop by the hs office if you would like to see them. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets. Freshmen need to sell a minimum of one book of tickets.
We are giving the ASVAB on January 25th at 8:15. This is a career exploration test and is available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. If you have questions or would like to sign up to take the ASVAB, please see Mrs. Donathan by January 18th.
Sophomores must return the Chad Cargill ACT test prep form to Mrs. Brown by February 1st.

Mason Turner (pictured left) is this week’s Howe Intern of the Week. Mason is a junior at Howe High School and has been interning in the science department for Mrs. Leigh Cooper, Science Instructor. Mason has been maintaining the lab and preparing experiments for Mrs. Cooper. He has always had a passion to become a Police Officer. In order to begin his career, Mason plans to attend Carl Albert State College and eventually obtain his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. #HPSLions
