Please come out and support our 4-H and FFA Livestock Exhibitors tonight and the LeFlore County Premium Sale. Location is at LeFlore County Fairgrounds. Dinner will start at 5:30. The sale will start at 6. These are the students that will be auctioning off their livestock projects 22- Chloey Young 27- Rhilynn Young 68- Abby Hale 95- Chett Moore 102- Jathen Harrison Tyler Sumpter will also receive his prize money from his Ag Mechanic Project.



These two Lady Lions, Jessa, 2nd and Teryn, 4th are sending good luck vibes to our Howe Lady Lions! Jessa's and Teryn's Lady Lions' teams both won 1st place in the Poteau PARC end of season tournament recently! Congratulations to their teams and Coaches! You'll be seeing more of these girls tearing up the basketball court in the future! #TheLadyLionWay


As we get ready to get loud and proud, there has been communication from the OSSAA regarding some aspects of crowd conduct and we want to pass this along to you to be fair. Officials have been know to automatically eject fans for violations and once that occurs, the fans are not allowed to return. Here are items that are of particular interest:
4) SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS SHOULD NOT ALLOW THEIR STUDENT BODIES TO SIT BEHIND THE OPPOSING TEAM’S BENCH. FANS MAY OR MAY NOT BE ASSURED SEATING BEHIND THEIR TEAMS.
5) THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED THAT MAY BE A DISTRACTION TO THE PARTICIPANTS OR FANS. THESE ITEMS INCLUDE BANDS OF ANY SIZE OR NATURE, NOISE MAKERS, CONFETTI, BANNERS, EMBLEMS, PLACARDS, SIGNS, FLAGS, THUNDERSTICKS, BALLOONS, LASER LIGHTS, FAT HEADS, MEGAPHONES OR ANY OTHER POSSIBLE DISTRACTIONS.

We are excited to announce that we had 45 students sign-up for the Howe Pep Bus to the Area Finals tomorrow. Parent and student confirmations were sent vis phone and/or SMS. We are meeting with students this afternoon to go over the code of conduct and details of the trip. Here is the message that was shared with parents:
This message is to confirm your student will be riding the Howe Pep Bus tomorrow, Friday, Feb 28 to the Area Final in McAlester. The bus will leave near the new gym at 3:30 pm SHARP and return to the Howe campus between 8:30 - 9:00 pm! A code of conduct will be shared with students today, and the form should also be signed by parent and returned to the pep bus chaperone upon arrival. Please review the game protocols shared earlier on the school website, app, and Facebook page. Just a reminder, students' admission and $10 concession will be paid by a donor. No additional money is needed. Do not bring valuables on the pep bus. McAlester has a clear bag policy. PLEASE REPLY TO 918-635-4071 with a text with your name, student's name, grade and a confirmation of YES if your student will be attending the PEP BUS trip tomorrow. Howe Public Schools Pep Bus to AREA Basketball Tournament Friday, February 28, 2025 at McAlester, OK.
Attention Parents and Students:
This is for Howe High School and Middle School students only (6th-12th grade). MUST RSVP on this form by Noon on Thursday, Feb. 27. https://bit.ly/howepepbus Admission to the game is $10 at the gate. Financial assistance may be available, check with your Principal.
The pep bus will leave the school campus at 3:30 pm on Friday, and return to the campus immediately following the game (at approximately 8:45-9 pm). Parents must pick-up students or have transportation arranged upon the return of the bus. Students must ride the bus to/from the game, no exceptions. Students should show their team spirit with our student section! Students MUST sit in the designated student section in the gym the entire evening. A parent/guardian must submit an individual form for each student they are signing up, and complete all information required below.
The pep bus must have a minimum of 20 students for the trip to make. Once the pep bus trip is confirmed shortly after noon tomorrow, a communication will be shared to you to confirm the trip. #GOBIGRED #LionPRIDE
