
The Howe Lions will play at Poteau Tuesday at 4pm. A game to allow both teams to get ready for the trip to state. No admission for fans. After the game there will be food for players and fans available to celebrate both teams making the state tournament. Everyone bring a chair!

Congratulations to our Howe HS Valedictorian Brayden Oglesby and Salutatorian Matthew Mitchell. Within the last 16 hours, they received their HS diplomas as Honor Grads AND graduated with honors with Associates Degrees from CASC! This is the first time in Howe and CASC history that two graduates from the same school earned their college degree as HS Seniors!
Brayden Oglesby has obtained his Associates Degree at Carl Albert State College majoring in Business.Administration with a 4.0 GPA and on the President's Honor Roll at CASC each semester. He is an honor grad at CASC graduating with 66 hours. He plans to transfer to Arkansas Tech University to continue his degree in business.
Matthew Mitchell has obtained his Associates Degree at Carl Albert State College majoring in Criminal Justice with a 4.0 GPA, President's Honor Roll at CASC each semester. He is an honor grad at CASC and a member of the CASC Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is graduating with 82 hours completed at CASC. Matthew plans to obtain his Bachelor's degree at the University of Central Oklahoma at Edmond majoring in Forensic Science/Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Firearms and Explosives Expert. Afterwards, he plans to obtain his Master's Degree in Forensic Science at UCO and work for the FBI.

HS Graduation Ceremony will be delayed to an 8-8:30 pm start time due to a delay in the Baseball Regional Finals start time. Graduation pictures are also delayed until 6:30 pm; gym doors open at 6:30 pm #HPSLions

The Howe Lady Lions received a Citation of Congratulations for their 2020-21 Class 2A State Championship from Representative Rick West and Senator George Burns today at the State Capitol. Additionally, the Citation also recognized the Lady Lions for having a team 3.99 GPA. The Leflore County Senior All-Star game will be hosted by Howe High School on May 21 with the girls game beginning at 6 pm and the boys game immediately following. The cost for the game is adults $3 and students $2 with all proceeds going to benefit the Leflore County Basketball Coaches Association... $250.00 in scholarship money will be awarded to The Most Valuable Players from the North and South Basketball teams. #HPSLions

Baseball Schedule Update: The Baseball Regionals scheduled for May 6-8 have been moved from Latta to Howe alleviating concerns of a conflict with the High School Graduation Ceremony scheduled for Friday May 7.
