Howe Intern of the Week (Aug 26)
Lindsey Reppen
As a senior, trying to make career decisions for after graduation can seem quite daunting. This week’s Howe Intern of the Week, Lindsey Reppen, is using her internship experience to make future plans. Lindsey is an intern for the Howe first grade teacher, Mrs. Lindsay Rana. She also interns for the Agricultural Science teacher, Mr. James Marshall. Lindsey plans to pursue a career in public education. Her internship is helping her determine if she will pursue a career in elementary education or agricultural sciences which she has been actively involved in the Howe FFA chapter as an officer. Good luck in making the best choice, Lindsey!
This week’s Howe Intern of the Week is senior, Johnathon Armstrong. Johnathon is an intern for Howe High School Instructor, Mrs. Joyce Denton. He also has been attending Kiamichi Technology Center (KTC) in the Automotive Program. Johnathon is completing his second year at KTC and plans to use his automotive skills after graduation by pursuing a career in the automotive industry with a service department for a car dealership. He enjoys working on smaller engines as a hobby. #HPSLions

Parents of 1st-12th grade students, if you would like to request a take home laptop for your student for the 2022-23 school year, please complete the form at https://bit.ly/howelaptoprequest2223. Parents must have completed the online enrollment forms in the PowerSchool parent/student portal before they can receive a laptop. Laptop take home will be processed prior to the Sept 2 Virtual Learning Day.
