Jaxon Gonzalez is the Howe Intern of the Week at Howe High School. He is a senior and has been an intern for the entire school year for High School Special Ed Teacher, Mrs. Joyce Denton. Jaxon has been involved in Archery and plans to attend Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau to pursue a career in Culinary Arts.
State testing, OSTP, starts on Wednesday for 3rd through 8th grades. It is very important that your child be at school everyday during testing so that they do not have to make them up at different time than their classmates. In the past, we have mainly tested in the mornings, but due to a short testing window, there will be testing sessions going on in the afternoons as well, so please plan on your student being at school all day during testing. Please encourage your students to do their best 🏆🏆. This is not a time to be nervous, it is a time for them to shine ☀️☀️ and show all they have learned this year. It is also very important for them to get a plenty of sleep the nights before testing and to have a good breakfast. Working together, helps our students be their best and do their best.
