On March 7th 2022, the Howe YAB read the Native story, “How Chipmunk Got His Stripes,” to Mrs. Charlotte and Mrs. Mary’s Pre-K class. They also worked with students on learning what bear means in Choctaw, Nita, through coloring sheets. Our Choctaw Nation District 3 & 4 princesses Graiclyn Dorsey and Micah Davidson also wore their beautiful regalia and explained to students what the pieces on the dress meant. Thank you, Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Charlotte for letting the YAB Students be a part of your day.
