Monday, May 11 is the Howe High School Graduation Ceremony at the Poteau Tower Drive-in. Attendance is by RSVP only by each Senior. The ceremony will start shortly after sunset, around 8:30 pm. Attendees may start arriving at 7:30 pm, and we encourage you to download the Drive-in's concession app (search for Tower Drive-in Theatre by ZIP 74953) and place orders prior to the ceremony starting. (See photo for App info.) You may sit outside or inside your vehicle. You are welcome to bring chairs. (Please adhere to CDC guidelines and practice safe-distancing of 6 feet between groups.) The event will be LIVE-STREAMED on the Howe Public Schools' Facebook page from the view of an attendee. The video will be hosted on the HPS' YouTube channel at a later date, and each Graduate will receive a DVD copy! CONGRATULATIONS Seniors! #HPSLions

CONGRATULATIONS 1st Grade on your AMAZING Animal Research Projects! For many years, Mrs. Rana and Mrs. Sanford's 1st Grade classes have ended the school year with an Animal Research Project. This project is a special culminating activity that most students remember for years and years! Despite the challenges of learning via distance and online classroom meetings, the students completed their projects! Congratulations to Senior Lady Lion Kenlei Duvall on receiving a Softball Team Scholarship from Carl Albert State College. Kenlei signed with CASC's Lady Vikings at a signing party on Nov. 15, 2019. This scholarship covers up to 16 hours tuition
in the amount of $1,460; Books, and $500 toward fees for all four semesters. We look forward to seeing you on the softball field (hopefully very soon!) #HPSLions

Since 2009, our school has been offering an incentive to help improve students' ACT scores. Thanks to the generous donations from Mr. Jason Blake, we have been able to award over $10,000 over the past decade. It works like this: if students score 20 or better on their ACT, they will receive $100. Once students score 20 or better, if they improve their composite score by 2 points or more, they will receive another $100. If students score a 30 or better they will receive $300. This is for the national test only. In 2009 we had 6 award winners. This year we have 19 who qualified. CONGRATULATIONS! #HPSLions
