Don’t miss Howe Public Schools’ Fall Carnival and Coronation ceremonies this evening, Tuesday, October 15! EVERYONE IS INVITED!
The Carnival will be held from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Due to inclement weather forecasts, locations of all events have been moved indoors. The Senior Class will be hosting BINGO in the lobby of the NEW GYM. Inflatables will be located in the Old Gym and Games/Concession will be located in the Cafeteria building. Be sure to also stop by the Middle School for the HAUNTED HALLWAY!
Ticket ($.50 each) and Inflatable Armband ($10 each) sales will be located in the OLD GYM and the Cafeteria. All games in the cafeteria will cost 1 ticket.
Coronation will start at 5:15 p.m. for grades 6th-12th and at 7:15 pm for grades PK-5th in the Auditorium.

Naomi is from Stockholm, Sweden. She likes to hang out with friends and go horseback riding. She wants to improve her English and keep her friends she makes here. Rene is from Nitra, Slovakia. He likes to play sports and he wants to learn better English. He likes the Athletics class. His mentor student is Timothy Wallis. Rene is staying with Dale and Leah Wilson. He wants to go to college in the USA and then go to the NBA. He has been to a number of countries including Egypt, Italy, and Greece.

NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia is inviting students grades K-12 to creatively visualize NASA’s science, technology and human exploration activities in the 2020 NASA Art Contest, using the theme “We Are Going.” The contest is open to all children grades K-12.

She hopes to become an independent individual. She loves Vocal Music. Her mentor student is Harley Calhoun. She plans to go back to Sweden and major in psychology. Her host family is Chris and Brandie Lovell.





For the next week, we will be featuring our high school foreign exchange students in a "meet the student" feature. Up first is Ricky Bellotti from Italy.
Ricky comes from Mariano Comense, Italy. He likes to play basketball and listen to music. He wants to learn better English and make more friends. He likes his Athletics class. His mentor student is Timothy Wallis. Ricky wants to be happy in the future. He is also staying with Dale and Leah Wilson. He has been to Spain, Switzerland, and France. #HPSLions




ATTENTION SENIORS!: Senior Tux and Drapes Pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 2019, in the basketball gym lobby. Please see the schedule outside Mrs. Donathan's classroom. A $20 sitting fee will be due on Wednesday before you may take pictures.
