All Howe FFA, Ag enrolled students, are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Back to School Bash! There will be food, drinks, cornhole, and a waterslide. We would advise you to not wear white if you plan on getting on the waterslide. Cornhole sign up will be on google classroom.
Howe Lions Baseball battled 2 hard fought games at Oktaha last night. Beating Okay and dropping game 2 to Oktaha.
They will be back in action tonight at home.

We have adjusted our breakfast schedule and now 6th - 8th students will go to the MS first and then the cafeteria at 7:55.
Mrs. Parks' MS and HS students started the week in Computer Science Discoveries with a focus on problem-solving! Students kicked off the course by collaborating on a fun, hands-on activity where they designed and built paper towers, reflecting on their experiences to connect with the creative and collaborative problem-solving skills they'll develop throughout the course. #csdiscoveries Code.org

We are asking for help from families in keeping our students in class till the end of the day when school dismisses. Elementary dismisses at 3:15 and MS at 3:20. Teachers are busy up until the very end of the day. If your child is being picked up early for an appointment, we ask that you turn in documentation for that on the following day. Thank you for your cooperation.
If you are eligible to order a Letter Jacket then they will be here Monday, August 26 beginning at 10:00 AM until Noon to take orders. Letter Jackets are for students in grades 10-12 in Athletics, Academic Team, and Cheer. If you have questions contact Coach Chris Brown.

Today the Howe FFA Officer Team went to the Tulsa Zoo, it was a great trip for the team. They learned how to work together, follow directions, and about different species of animals across the world.

The road in front of the middle school will be closed from 7:45 till the end of the day for our student's safety.
Here's a big shout out to our cafeteria and nutrition staff for providing proper nutrition to our students as we kick off the school year. There have been some software issues that have proven challenges for timeliness in getting students through the line, but they have been diligent in seeking solutions and are already finding ways to overcome the parts that are out of their hands! #HPSLions

Heavener After Hours Clinic will be here Tuesday morning at 8:30 for physicals for any student who missed out in May.. Cost is $10 per student. Physicals will be in the Lobby of the new gym.
