Attention Howe Choctaw Students . . . . Native November Tailgate at SE:
College FYI is hosting a tailgate for Choctaw students interested in SE on November 5. We have around 200 more tickets to give out and will have plenty of food and activities. We will be drawing for some t-shirts at the tailgate as well. In addition, CFYI will be recognized on the field during that game. (This is not a school-sponsored event.)

Howe Intern Feature - Tristen Bryant
This week’s Howe Intern of the Week is junior, Tristen Bryant. Tristen is an intern for the Howe High School Science teacher, Mrs. Jessica Wigginton. He has an interest in pursuing a career in education and the internship has given him the opportunity to receive on-the-job training as a teacher’s assistant. Tristen is active in the Howe E-Sports program and hopes to receive an E-Sports scholarship after graduation. He plans to pursue a career in education or culinary arts.


SENIORS - Senior Tuxedo and Drape pictures have been postponed, and the new date will be announced soon. Seniors will need to bring two bingo prizes by Wednesday, Oct. 5th #HPSLions

Howe Public Schools will shift from on-campus learning to virtual learning on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 6-7, 2022 for the Class 2A State Fast-Pitch Softball State Tournament. All students should be prepared to access their online assignments in Google Classroom or SeeSaw for both Thursday and Friday.

The MS Esports League Tournament started last week with a round of Rocket League action. The HMS Team played some close matches but lost to AJHS 3-1.




Congrats to Skyla Mattox and Jodie Cauthen for winning the Sora Scavenger Hunts in MS and HS! Every month the library will be sponsoring a new contest, so keep reading!


Howe Intern Feature - Jaxon Remy
A very busy senior is this week’s Howe Intern of the Week - Jaxon Remy. Jaxon has two internships at Howe High School. He interns for the High School Science Teacher, Mrs. Jessica Wigginton and 3rd and 4th grade athletics with Coach Reece Mitchell. Jaxon is presently attending CASC as a concurrent student. He plans to complete his Associates Degree at CASC in Pre-Engineering and further his education at OU majoring in Mechanical Engineering. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree at OU, he will be pursuing a career with NASA. #HPSLions


Lady Lions Softball State Bound! Congratulations to our Lady Lions Fast-pitch team and their coaches, Head Coach Richie Nye and Asst: Shelby Whitecotton!
