Part of Mrs. Cooper's Environmental Science class' celebration of Earth Day was to create an Earth Day themed meme. You can celebrate too! Earth Day is about awareness of our own everyday habits; so, use today to ask yourself important questions like, "Where does my trash go?", "Am I using my electricity efficiently?", "How clean is the water that I drink?" #HPSLions

Earth Day: Environmental Science student, Naythan Ocampo, is working in his family's composting area. Did you know that at least 30% of all the produce bought by Americans goes in the trash. Composting is a great way to dispose of those unused fruits and vegetables while also building fertile soil. Soil is often considered a nonrenewable resource because of the time and variety of resources needed to create good soil. Celebrate Earth Day, start composting! #HPSLions
