FFA Members competing Monday night at the Hugo Invitational Speech Contest. Students write, prepare, and memorize their own speeches for these contests. 2nd place Preslee Jackson, 3rd River Cogburn, 5th Micah Davidson. Lane Frost grave visit before contest.

High School Graduation Ceremony Statement Howe High School will adhere to state requirements regarding Covid-19 conditions in our area at the time of graduation. Currently there are no restrictions and/or mask mandates, therefore we are planning for a normal high school graduation.

PARENTS: The Kiwanis Little Olympics is Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Poteau football field, for grades 3-6. We will take a bus for those that need a ride, up at the new gym, leaving at 5:15 pm #HPSLions

Leflore Co. Show/ Premium Sale February 25th - 28th FFA and 4-h Members participated in the 2021 Leflore Co. Livestock Show. February 26th Gracie Mattox, Jace Moore, Bailey Moore, Rhilynn Young, Chett Moore and James and Jacob Leatherwood participated in the goat and lamb show. February 27th Preslee Jackson, Lindsey Reppen, and Raegan Hall participated in the swine show. All exhibitors placed 1st-6th in the Leflore Co. Livestock Show and made premium sale. The Howe showman spent long hours in the barn working with their animals and getting ready for shows.

REMINDER (April 15 DEADLINE!) Attention Seniors: We need 3-5 photos for the Senior Graduation Slideshow. Photos should represent your baby, toddler, elementary, middle school, and high school years. You can email high quality jpeg or png files to tammygparks@howeschools.org or bring photos in a labeled envelope to the High School office. Please submit by Thursday April 15. See attached examples. The slideshow will be played at the Graduation Ceremony. #HPSLions
