Howe Public Schools Grab and Go lunch program will launch tomorrow, Tuesday, March 23. Due to recent changes in guidance from OK SDE Child Nutrition Program, we will be handing out both breakfast and lunch meals for 5 days TOMORROW (a total of 10 meals at once). All meals for the week (5 days) will be provided tomorrow between 10 - 11:30 am as a drive through Grab and Go service at the South Entrance of the cafeteria building (steps entrance.) Meals have been prepared based on the number requested on the recent parent survey that was sent to all Howe families via PowerSchool messenger (SMS and Email), as well as the School App. If you did not respond to the survey, please contact the Elem (PH (918) 658-3508) or HS office (PH (918) 658-3368) between the hours of 8 am - 12 pm to request meals. Weekly surveys will be shared to provide our Food Service staff accurate counts for meal planning. Full week’s meals will be distributed on a Monday schedule (10 - 11:30 am) starting next week. Just a reminder, due to OK SDE Child Nutrition guidelines: FOR A REIMBURSABLE SCHOOL MEAL, CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT DURING PICK-UP.

Attn CASC Concurrent enrollment students:
“After careful review of the available information, and after consulting with our higher education peers, we have made the decision to transition to distance learning (online, virtual, etc) beginning the Monday after Spring Break for a two-week trial period, after which the situation will be re-evaluated. The health and well-being of our Carl Albert students, staff, and faculty remains our priority. Your campus leadership continues to closely monitor the evolution and spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The situation continues to evolve nearly daily, so we remain in close communication with the local and state departments of health, our resources at the Office of the State Regents for Higher Education, and fellow higher education peers.” - Update from CASC Full press release can be viewed here: https://okwnews.com/news/whatzup/updated-carl-albert-state-college-covid-19-press-release.
