Lady Lion Slowpitch drop 2 close games today in the final day of the Broken Bow Festival to 5A Washington 8-7 and 5A Tecumseh 8-0! The Lady Lions finished 2-2 in the festival! #KappaHowe
Howe softball goes 2-0 on the day in the Broken Bow Slowpitch festival! Game 1 Howe takes the run rule win over Idabel 10-0 in 4 innings and game 2 Howe takes the run rule win over Vanoss 18-4 in 6 innings! #KappaHowe

From tasty treats to hands-on math fun, our middle schoolers celebrated Pi Day in exciting ways!
🟠 6th grade enjoyed some sweet circular treats and worked together to create a collaborative Pi Day collage, all while learning fun facts about π (pi)!
🔵 7th and 8th grade got hands-on by discovering Pi through measuring circumference and diameter, then put their creativity to the test with Pi-themed tessellations! 🎨📏

The Lady Lions went 2-2 today in the Oktaha HS Slowpitch tournament. The team fell to Haskell and Fairland but took wins from Eufaula and Hulbert! The Lady's outhit their opponents 61-38 today! #KappaHowe
Mrs. Cooper's class has been working hard to demonstrate the systems of the body. Aside from the laughs, they are learning a lot through this experience. Group-based project learning is a value we promote as much as possible in various forms. If you happen by the high school, you ought to look at these larger-than-life images.
Our junior high golf team competed in their first tournament today, and we brought home some hardware!
Jaelyn Vongnarath placed 2nd in the girls’ division.
Whit Brown and Adin McBride tied for 3rd in the boys’ division.

Mrs. Wigginton’s Sociology and Coach Womack’s Military History classes visited the Fort Smith National Historic Site to learn about the old fort and Judge Isaac Parker’s courtroom. A few also learned a little bit about the inside of an 1800s jail cell. Thank you Matt and the site rangers for a great tour!
Congratulations to the Howe Lions Archery teams. The High School finished 3rd in the Grand State Archery Meet and secured a National Qualifier position. The Junior High finished with a 1st place finish in the Tier 2 State Meet.
Aiden Gunnels fished 1st in the 8th grade boys division and 2nd in the Middle school division.
Bentley Thompson finished 4th in the Middle School division and 2nd in the 7th grade boys division.
Norah Cooper finished 2nd in Junior High girls division and 1st in the 7th grade girls division.
