The Lions’ Table Weekend Meals
Families who need weekend meals for their students may pick them up every Friday (or the last school day of the week) at the High School Office.
These meals are provided through our Lions’ Table program and are for students only.
No sign-up is required—just stop by if your student needs a meal for the weekend.
We’re here to help!
November is designated as National Diabetes Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about diabetes prevention, detection, and management. Our very own 5th grader Rhyan Couch is taking on Type 1 Diabetes like a champ. We all want Rhyan to know we support him. As his shirt says”It’s ok to be a little different” because we believe being different is cool.

Game day vibes! Go HOWE! The Lady Lions and Lions face off with Smithville this evening at home. The Lady Lions' game starts at 6:00 pm, with the Lions following. Good luck!

Kaiden Vinson has something to be proud of!
He has officially completed Howe’s Lexia POWERUP Literacy program!
Throughout his literacy journey, Kaiden earned an impressive 20 certificates — a true testament to his hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
Great job, Kaiden! We are proud of you!

Today Slatey Jo Free and Josey Peterson made it official by signing to play basketball with Southeastern Oklahoma State University! Both of these girls have worked extremely hard and are outstanding examples of what we want our Lady Lions to be like.

This is what the Millionaire Word Club looks like!!! Briley just passed the million word reading mark today! She is taking home the latest Dog Man book to celebrate! @Scholastic @EveryChildAReader @CBCBook

A Huge Thank You to the Blake Family!
We want to extend our deepest appreciation to the Blake Family for their tremendous support and hard work over the past couple of weeks. They have assisted with cleaning and organizing the upper elementary/gym parking lot, placing new parking curbs, and helping organize building materials for the high school construction project.
In addition, they are providing invaluable assistance on the development of the new road off Lion Street—an improvement that will greatly enhance our pick-up line and make ballgame entry smoother and safer for everyone.
The Blakes continually step up for Howe Public Schools, often providing equipment, materials, labor—or all of the above—whenever there is a need. Their ongoing commitment makes a meaningful difference and helps us create a better, safer, and more welcoming environment for our students, staff, and families.
Thank you, Blake Family, for your unwavering support and generosity. We appreciate you more than words can say! #HPSLions

As part of our OCLSD grant we were able to purchase backpacks and board books to send home on a bi-weekly basis with our 3YO and PK students. Along with the backpacks and books, there were papers that had suggests of ideas for parents to help build a love for books and increase early literacy skills at an early age. A new book and ideas will go home with these students every two weeks. Great things are happening at Howe Schools.

More Harvest Festival Pics!

What a great day at the CASC Harvest Festival! Our Howe 5th-8th Grade GCATS volunteered to help with the games, and they did an outstanding job! And had fun doing it! Thanks to Mr. Caleb Dolan and CASC Scholars for allowing us to serve!

Thank you to all seniors and their families who worked hard to sell poinsettias this season, and thank you to all who purchased them.

More amazing Lexia Power Up students. Growing and showing what they can do.
