Former Kiamichi Tech Computer Information Technology student and 2018 Howe High School graduate, Tyler Singleterry, stopped by the program to speak to the current class.
September 20, 2022 was National IT Professional’s Day and students were able to interview Tyler about his current position. After completing the program, Tyler started his career at Howe Public Schools where he works as an IT Assistant. He answered questions about his personal experience looking for a job, gave advice to gain experience while in high school, encouraged students to be patient while dealing with customers, and to build good communication skills.

Gear Up will be touring colleges and universities across Texas Oct 11-12th. Gear Up students are invited to attend a one-night, 2-day touring event. All expenses paid by Gear Up.
