Friday, September 30th, a representative from Educational Talent Search will visit with freshmen in the auditorium following breakfast. The representative will visit with sophomores following the freshmen presentation.

October 5th, Naval Officer Anthony Stutt will interpret ASVAB scores for students who took the ASVAB this school year. This will be at 1:pm in the auditorium. Students will need their laptops.

Congratulations to the Howe FFA Opening Ceremonies teams last night at the SE Shootout Greenhand Contest. Team #1 placed 2nd in the first round advancing to the finals, placing 5th overall. Team#2, 4th first round, both teams competing against 76 total teams in competition.

Congratulations to Balie Moore and Rhilynn Young placing 5th and 6th in their respective classes at the Arkansa/Oklahoma State Fair on Thursday with their steers.

✔️ The CASC College Fair is this Friday (9/30) from 9:10 to 11:45. Most Oklahoma Colleges/Universities and local Arkansas Colleges/Universities will be there. You must register to attend. Mrs. Mitchell sent you a link to your school email.
✔️ Senior Tuxedo and Drape pictures are Thursday, October 6, 2022. The time slots for your pictures are posted outside Mrs. Denton’s and Mrs. Wigginton’s classroom and inside Mrs. Horn’s classroom. There is a $20 fee due the day of pictures.
✔️ Seniors will need to bring two bingo prizes the day of tux and drape pictures.

This week’s Howe Intern of the Week is Graiclyn Dorsey (pictured right). She is a junior at Howe High School and an intern for Mrs. Jennifer Cox, Elementary and Middle School Counselor. Graiclyn is the Howe Cheer Squad Captain and a former Choctaw Nation Junior Miss. After high school graduation, she plans to attend Carl Albert State College and the University of Arkansas Fort Smith to pursue a career as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
